PROVIDENCE PRESBYTERIAN WALL PRESERVATION PROJECT

The Stone Man is rebuilding one of the oldest walls in Charlotte!

Come and join us for a day of teambuilding and giving back to the community.

Providence Presbyterian Cemetery Wall is a very rare magnificent but dilapidated dry stone wall dating from around 1800 . It is one of the regions oldest structures.

Trainees will learn the techniques of dry stone walling from Certified Master Craftsman Dry Stone Mason George Crump

Volunteer sessions are a great day of team-building in the outdoors, a fun way to contribute to preservation of an historic side, and an opportunity to learn some basics of the ancient craft of dry stone masonry.
